Storage rooms are, by its very nature, a mythical territory: a protected place, inaccessible to profane eyes, where a great accumulation of artworks is carefully preserved. Hidden here are isolated pieces, or ones that form part of a series, stored according to various technical, or even pragmatic, criteria. It is this concealed and mysterious space that this exhibition seeks to evoke, bringing to light and exposing to the curious gaze of the visitors a vast number of works that, only by the physical constraints of the building in which the Museum is housed, do not form part of the permanent exhibition.
